Psalm 118:13-14 - NLT
You did your best to kill me, O my enemy, but the LORD helped me.  The LORD is my strength and my song; he has become my victory.

Going home to Mother's was murder on the diet. Stacy dreaded it. She knew the minute she walked in, her mother would ask her why she wasn't eating right, and then, for the next week, her mother would shove fattening, although delicious, dishes in front of her face. Going home required a double measure of strength. At those times, Stacy had to pray doubly hard. Sometimes it worked, sometimes she gave in. In the end, though, Stacy was glad to have God to turn to. Once back in her own apartment, He gave her all the resolve she needed to get right back on her diet. Truly, the Lord was her strength and her salvation.

Today's Thought: I need saving from that which I would devour!

Today's Tip:  Look for businesses that rent out equipment such as roller blades, kayaks, bicycles, tennis and racquetball equipment for a small fee. This way you’ll have no excuse for not doing something physical while you are traveling.
